Last week, The Financial Times covered the Right On Crime campaign in an article entitled “Prison Costs Spur Unlikely Alliance in U.S.” The article is available to subscribers here. Among the many people quoted in the piece is Tony Fabelo of the Council of State Governments Justice Center.  He notes that “[g]roups like Right on Crime are making it more acceptable for conservative policymakers to look at alternative policies to incarceration without feeling they are being ‘soft on crime.’”
