Bradley Lum is the Mississippi State Director for Right On Crime. Lum is a dedicated and accomplished executive and attorney, with a strong passion for creating positive change and empowering individuals to build successful and fulfilling lives. As an effective leader, Lum has successfully established numerous collaborative efforts involving government agencies, community organizations, and private enterprises to provide comprehensive solutions for individuals and businesses.
Throughout his career he has led various organizations, from startup ventures to legacy companies. His experience in various industries, including logistics and manufacturing, provides him with a unique perspective on the daily challenges encountered in business. In more recent years, he has made notable contributions by implementing innovative strategies and programs that facilitate smooth transitions for individuals returning to society from correctional facilities. Lum has worked tirelessly to bridge the gap between incarceration and reintegration, recognizing the transformative power of employment in breaking the cycle of recidivism. He possesses a deep understanding of the multifaceted challenges faced by justice-involved individuals, and his work is centered around fostering a holistic approach towards workforce development and reentry initiatives.
In addition to his impactful work in the reentry space, Lum is also recognized as a thought leader and advocate for policy reform. Lum is a current Commissioner on the Capital City Convention Center Commission and volunteers his spare time coaching youth sports in the Metro area.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and subsequently obtained his law degree from Mississippi College School of Law.
He and his wife, Celeste, are raising their four children in Jackson, Mississippi.
