Jean Fisher is a seasoned prosecutor and champion of victims’ rights and offender accountability. Her distinguished career includes 32 years in the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office as Chief Deputy of the Special Crimes Unit where she carried a full felony case load and specialized in child abuse and sexual assault. She also prosecuted several high-profile murder cases involving children and families. Fisher was appointed by Governor Otter and confirmed before the Idaho Senate to serve on the Idaho Sex Offender Management Board where she served for 12 years. Fisher wrote protocols for child abuse investigations which became uniform across the state. For six years, Fisher served as Chief Operating Officer of the Faces of Hope Victim Center in Boise where she helped create an all-inclusive victim center for child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking. Currently, Fisher works with Building Hope Today, a non-profit which provides curriculum and subject matter experts to teach about grooming and delayed disclosure investigations in child sexual abuse cases.  Fisher, a long-standing Idaho resident, will be advancing ROC’s footprint and presence on issues of conservative criminal justice initiatives.
