Austin, Texas — Right On Crime, a national criminal justice initiative of the Texas Public Policy Foundation, today announced the promotion of Nikki Pressley to Deputy Director of Right On Crime. Pressley previously served as the organization’s Chief of Staff and Texas State Director.
In her new role, Pressley will help lead Right On Crime’s national strategy, policy development, and state-based reform efforts aimed at advancing conservative solutions that enhance public safety, uphold accountability, and protect individual liberty.
Since joining Right On Crime, Pressley has played a critical role in expanding the organization’s state initiatives, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and advancing evidence-based criminal justice reforms across the country. Her leadership in Texas and nationally has helped drive meaningful policy conversations focused on reducing crime while ensuring fairness and effectiveness within the justice system.
“Nikki has been instrumental to the growth and success of Right On Crime,” said Brett Tolman, Executive Director of Right On Crime. “Her strategic leadership, policy expertise, and deep commitment to conservative criminal justice reform have strengthened our work at every level. This promotion reflects both her impact and the critical role she will continue to play in shaping the future of our movement.”
“Right On Crime has always been focused on advancing policies that make communities safer while protecting constitutional rights and promoting accountability,” said Nikki Pressley. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue working alongside an exceptional team and our partners across the country to advance practical, conservative solutions that strengthen public safety and restore confidence in our justice system.”
As Deputy Director, Pressley will work closely with leadership and state partners to expand Right On Crime’s national footprint and advance policies that prioritize victims, improve system outcomes, and ensure taxpayer resources are used effectively.
