2021: Oklahoma focused on returning citizens back to society as productive citizens. They modified the process for juvenile court record expungement. Passed the Sarah Stitt Act to ensure individuals have proper identification and work documents prior to release from prison Oklahoma also modernized and modified the state’s practices of suspending drivers’ licenses to remove crimes that don’t directly relate to driving offenses. 

2022: Session starts 2/7/2022

Expungement initiatives are a big focus for 2022, as well as reclassification of felony crimes and defending the merits of SQ780.

While a student at the University of Central Oklahoma Davidson accepted a job at the Oklahoma House of Representatives, then moved into an internship in the Lt. Governor’s office. This jump-started a more than 17-year career working in politics in Oklahoma. Marilyn Davidson serves as President of Davidson Consulting.
